Analyst Upgrades, Downgrades
CVR Energy (NYSE:CVI) is down today on the news major shareholders Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) and Kelso & Co. LP would be selling off, along with its CEO and others, about 15 million shares in the energy company.
According to CEO John J. Lipinski, he's selling his shares in CVR "for personal tax planning purposes."
After the sale of the shares, Kelso will own about 26 percent of CVR and Goldman 28 percent.
CVR Energy was trading at $10.46, losing $0.57, or 5.17 percent at 2:15 PM EST.
