Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) Launches eFX Trading Platform for Options

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) via their Merrill Lynch unit has launched eFX trading platform for options.

Richard Elliott, the head of eFX Options Trading of Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), said, “The FX options market has seen an increased demand for electronic trading capabilities, both via desktop applications and via API. We’ve received very favorable feedback on the speed and ease of use of the platform; our clients also appreciate the added control this sophisticated product offers.”

The platform will offer electronic FX options trading capabilities for institutional and corporate clients of the giant financial institutions.

Clients will be able to use the platform to execute live trades or with delta exchange. They can also obtain two-way dealable prices using the platform.

Bank of America was trading at $12.35, down $0.05, or 0.36 percent.
