Goldman (NYSE:GS) Changes Ford's (NYSE:F) EPS Estimates

After Ford (NYSE:F) released some quarterly sales numbers Wednesday, Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) did some minor changes to its quarterly estimates.

Production forecast release from Ford came in at 635,000, 30,000 below the 665,000 Goldman had been looking for. Sales did manage to beat Goldman's expectations of 17 percent, coming in at 19 percent for November.

Daily rentals were a disappointing 12.6 percent for the year, but Fleet was healthy at 32 percent year-to-date.

For the first quarter of 2011, Goldman lowered their EPS estimate from $0.51 to $0.48, while keeping their EPS estimate for the second quarter the same at $0.56. The third quarter was downwardly revised from $0.51 to $0.48, and for the fourth quarter raised from $0.44 to $0.51.

Ford closed at $16.78 Thursday, up by $0.32, or 1.94 percent.
