As the earnings period approaches, Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu said there is reason for worries from the growing competition from Google.
Wu says “international continues to drive demand, led by email and text-based applications.”
Kaufman maintains their "Hold" rating on Research in Motion, which was trading at $61.27, up $0.46, or 0.76 percent, as of 12:39 PM EST. Kaufman has a price target of $60 on RIM.
