Barclays (NYSE:BCS) said they see unit sales of Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) increasing from prior estimates of $13.8 million to 14.1 million.
Barclays said, "We anticipate healthy if not splendid F3Q unit volumes: We believe the $99 Torch promotion at AT&T has allowed RIM to remain the #2 vendor at AT&T. We expect it to add to healthy international volumes to lead F3Q units to at least the midpoint of guidance. We lift our estimate from 13.8M to 14.1M, which lifts EPS from $1.62 to $1.65. Our F4Q EPS rises from $1.45 to $1.57 on higher units."
Barclays maintains their "Overweight" rating on Research in Motion, which closed Monday at $63.33, up by $0.68, or 1.08 percent. Barclays has a price target of $85 on them.
