Sprint (NYSE:S) Releasing 4G Tablet in 2011, Upgraded by Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS)

Taking into consideration Sprint (NYSE:S) released their 3G Samsung Galaxy Tab not too long ago, they're moving quickly into 4G tablets, with an announcement they're going to release their first one in 2011.

Sprint customers have expressed some dismay at the announcement coming so quickly after the 3G release.

The question for Sprint is whether or not they believe consumers will wait on them for the 4G release.

Paget Alves, Sprint’s President of Business Markets, recently stated on the issue, “We’ve been in this market for over two years. We’ve had a lot of time to work with our customers and build up a portfolio of 4G devices and services.” Reliability will pay out, at the end of the day. Also, the branding of all fast networks as 4G will “eventually backfire. Then it will be more about delivering what people expect from a ‘4G’ experience.”

Credit Suisse (NYSE:CS) maintains their “Highest Conviction Outperform” rating on Sprint, which is trading at $4.42 up $0.20, or 4.74 percent, as of 1:32 PM EST. They raised their price target on them from $6 to $8.
