Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) Will Benefit Most from 4G, Tablets Trend, Says Jefferies (NYSE:JEF)

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) stands to gain the most economically from the massive 4G and tablet trend, according to Jefferies.

Jefferies stated, "We believe Apple's product leadership, vertical integration, and vast scale means that it will receive the lion's share of the economic benefit from the two biggest multi-year trends in technology with 4G and tablets."

In response, Jefferies has boosted their EPS/revenue estimates on the company from $20/$94.6M to $22.06/$104.6M. Their full year 2012 EPS estimates are $29.88, against the consensus of only $22.64.

Gross margins of Apple are also projected to come in over 35 percent for 2012, with pressures on pricing eventually having an impact in 2013.

Jefferies reiterates their "Buy" rating on Apple, which closed Tuesday at $341.64, down $0.81, or 0.24 percent. They increased their price target on Apple from $365 to $450.
