Anticipation of when Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) will bring its iPhone to Verizon (NYSE:VZ) has analysts entering the fray with their predictions of how many iPhone will sell on the network.
Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster says he sees up to 9 million iPhone being sold, while Gleacher & Co. analyst Brian Marshall sees up to 12 million Verizon iPhones be purchased.
Munster added that sales could be even better if Verizon uses a new customer strategy rather than attempting to get customers of AT&T (NYSE:T) to switch to them.
More than likely it'll be a strategy of combining the two for optimal sales.
Apple was trading at $340.60, gaining $4.48, or 1.33 percent, as of 12:01 PM EST. Verizon was at $35.97, up $0.04, or 0.11 percent.
