Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone May Reach China, India Soon Says Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS)

A lot of conjecture has been floating around about where the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone may be offered next, and if Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) analyst Katy Huberty is right, it will be in China and India.

Much has already been made of Apple's deal with Verizon (NYSE:VZ) not being exclusive, which could open the door to domestic competitors like Sprint (NYSE:S), but that really wouldn't make much sense, as it would only spread the iPhone around among numerous carriers without really generating more sales.

The importance of the non-exclusive agreement is the global market, and specifically, as mentioned, China and India.

Companies identified as probabilities by Huberty were China Telecom (NYSE:CHA) and India's Reliance.

Huberty claims Apple will attempting to penetrate the markets of both countries in the next several months.

As in many sectors, China and India are the fastest growing mobile markets in the world.
