Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) acknowledges Mattel (NYSE:MAT) has outperformed Hasbro (NASDAQ:HAS) concerning sales, but they still like Hasbro heading into the fourth quarter.
After industry checks, Goldman said they toy industry appears to have grown by mid-single-digits during the Christmas season.
EPS estimates for 2010 were increased to $2.72, for full year 2011 to $3.50 and for full year 2012 to $4.10. For the fourth quarter, Goldman is 5 cents above consensus for Hasbro.
Goldman maintains a "Top Rating" on Hasbro, which closed Monday at $46.63, down $0.55, or 1.17 percent. They have a price target on Hasbro of $62.
