JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) Says Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone May Cost $30 More with Verizon (NYSE:VZ)

According to JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) analyst Mark Moskowitz, the price of the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone with Verizon (NYSE:VZ) could cost $30 more than its competitor AT&T (NYSE:T).

Moskowitz wrote saying, "The key differentiator is the cost of CDMA-related components. While the acquisition price of the iPhone could be slightly more expensive for subscribers on Verizon, we think that there will be offsets, specifically network performance."

Having recently ditched AT&T as my network, that $30 could easily money well spent, and many consumers will think so as well.

"If Verizon can avoid network performance issues during and after a potential iPhone roll-out, then we expect a multi-year growth spurt in U.S. iPhone sales," Moskowitz added," as meaningful levels of AT&T iPhone subscribers could migrate to Verizon for improved performance."

Verizon closed Monday at $35.92, dropping $0.01, or 0.03 percent. AT&T ended the session at $28.34, down $0.51, or 1.77 percent.
