MFA Mortgage (NYSE:MFA) at an Attractive Entry Point

MFA Mortgage (NYSE:MFA) stands at an attractive entry point to either add to your position or initiate a position, according to FBR Capital.

FBR said, "We believe that the shares, currently trading at 1.05x last reported book value and nearly a 12% dividend yield, offer an attractive entry point to initiate or add to positions. We believe that MFA's strategic portfolio mix between agency and non-agency MBS enables the company not only to manage its interest rate sensitivity (which is critical with recent yield curve volatility) but also to internally recycle prepaid capital from its agency book into its non-agency book (target roughly $100M per month)."

FBR Capital reiterates an "Outperform" rating on MFA Mortgage, which closed Thursday at $8.00, down $0.02, or 0.25 percent. FBR has a price target of $9 on them.
