Research in Motion's (NASDAQ:RIMM) Playbook Finally Gets Some Analyst Love

With just about every analyst out there predicting Research in Motion's (NASDAQ:RIMM) Playbook tablet computer will be "dead on arrival," Wunderlich Securities analyst Matthew Robison gives a contrarian view, and is actually bullish on the device.

Robison backed his conclusions saying, "With the industry to shift toward lower cost and better battery performance to address demand elasticity, we believe the focus of the installed base of smartphone users, especially users of super smartphones like the iPhone and high-end Android products, to shift toward tablet computers. Conventional wisdom centers on the notion that tablets will encroach on the laptop market."

If Robinson is right, the playbook will gest into smartphone sales, affecting Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) more than most. He believes consumers are looking for more screen than offered by smartphones, but remain portable.

Research in Motion closed at $59.10 on Tuesday, gaining $0.16, or 0.27 percent.

To add to that, the PlayBook has a few killer apps ready to go for serious industry usage. The Client Outlook eUnity app will generate a couple million sales into the healthcare field alone in the first 2 years.

Rim is one of the cheapest blue chip stocks with one of the biggest potential upswings just around the corner . The tablet will help out . There last year each quarter they were beating analysts predictions. The very first blue tooth smart phone capabilities in some BMW's will also help there stock . I am very bullish on there future .

How do I go about getting a job make uneducated speculations and "predictions" on products that have not yet even had their specs confirmed publically yet? It would seem that a certain Mr Jobs also used the term "dead on arrival" and this message just gets regurgitated by "analysts" claiming their expertise.
The web is a fad; Google is a bubble; an iPhone without copy/paste will die on the shelf; etc...

RIMM will stop AAPL dominate the market. Playbook is a must tool to have. Together with the QNX software platform, this stock will hit the target price $95 in a very near future. Strong buy now!!

It is unreal. Why would anyone buy this under-power device with limited apps. Also, 7" screen? It is just wrong. Did anyone see the Xoom from Motorola? Dual core processor with 10.1" screen. Upgradable to LTE. Much more apps available on Android OS. It is a no brainer.

I'm waiting for the Playbook. With the lack of security offered by the iphone & ipad, there's no way I'd risk putting my livelihood into either of those two devices.
