Apple (AAPL) Ready to Showcase iPad 2 on March 2

The invitation to various media outlets by Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) can mean only one thing at this time, and that is they are about to unveil their iPad 2, which after many reports, doesn't seem to have too much in the way that will surprise.

One feature that has been touted for some time is the inclusion of a camera on the next iPad release.

Apple invited reporters to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco - the same place Apple unveiled the original iPad last year in January.

The event will take place on March 2, according to the Apple invitation, which included a huge "2" placed in the center of a tear-off page, which said "Come see what 2011 will be the year of."
