Chris Weber Chosen to Head Up Nokia's (NYSE:NOK) USA Business

Chris Weber, a former executive at Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), and owner of his own consulting firm, has been named by Nokia (NYSE:NOK) to led its operations in the U.S.

Officially he'll be President of Nokia Inc. (United States), and head of Markets, North America.

At Microsoft Weber had a number of positions for 16 years, mostly in professional services, sales and marketing.

While Nokia is a worldwide player, they have continued to struggle over the years to significantly penetrate the U.S. market. Weber said he's committed to “work relentlessly on winning the trust of our customers and the hearts of consumers" in America.
