Seabridge Gold (AMEX:SA) skyrocketed by over 8 percent Tuesday on the news they found more resources than expected at their KSM project in British Columbia, Canada.
New estimates have the resource holding about 5.1 million ounces of gold and 1.7 billion pounds of copper.
Including all categories, Seabridge said they have been expecting about five million ounces in gold resource, but exceeded it with a superior copper grade.
The indicated resource is surrounded by a grouping of inferred resources containing another 3.4 million ounces of gold and 1.3 billion pounds of copper.
Seabridge closed Tuesday at $31.74, up $2.43, or 8.29 percent.
