Bank of America (BAC) Has $2.3 Trillion in Assets

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) continues to be the largest bank in America, with $2.3 trillion in assets, as of the fourth quarter in 2010, although it's not helping them in getting the Federal Reserve to allow them to reinstate its dividend.

According to analysis by SNL Financial, the giant bank is only one of two in the country will over $2 trillion in assets; the other being JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM).

JPMorgan is the second-largest bank in the country, with $2.1 trillion in assets and about $930.4 billion in deposits.

Next in size is Citigroup (NYSE:C) with $1.9 trillion in assets and $845 billion in deposits.

Bank of America closed Wednesday at $13.65, down $0.23, or 1.66 percent.
