Chesapeake (CHK), Range Resources (RRC), Southwestern (SWN), Devon (DVN) All Down As Oil Continues to Take Center Stage

Companies with heavy exposure to natural gas, like Chesapeake Energy (NYSE:CHK), Range Resources (NYSERRC), Southwestern Energy (NYSE:SWN) and Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) are getting hit hard today, as focus is on oil, and especially companies with exposure to shale oil, as uncertainty from the crisis in the Middle East continue to weigh on the market.

Devon was trading at $89.97, down $0.19, or 0.21 percent, as of 1:42 PM EST.

Southwestern Energy was at $37.42m, falling $0.55, or 1.45 percent. Range Resources was trading at $50.07, down $0.51, or 1.01 percent.

Chesapeake Energy, which is the second-largest U.S. natural gas producer, was trading at $33.50, down $0.13, or 0.39 percent.
