Ford (F) Tops "Most-considered" Vehicle Status

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) has regained its spot in the eyes of consumers shopping for a new vehicle. They have surpassed Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE:TM) as the most-considered new vehicle brand among shoppers in the fourth quarter.

According to a report from automobile researcher Kelley Blue Book, Ford's revamped product line, business strategy and marketing efforts were what helped drive Ford to the top of the list.

Ford had taken second place in the third-quarter report after a temporary No. 1 run in the middle Toyota’s recall troubles.

Now Toyota is tied for second place with General Motors' (NYSE:GM) Chevrolet.

Ford closed Thursday at $14.06, down $0.23, or 1.61 percent.
