Shares of banks JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM), Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) and BB&T Corp. (NYSE:BBT) are all up today as they passed their stress tests and boosted their dividends.
JPMorgan raised their dividend from 5 cents a share to 25 cents a share, rising to $46.04, up $1.49, or 3.32 percent, as of 12:25 PM EDT.
Wells Fargo increased its dividend from 5 cents a share to 12 cents a share, pushing the stock up to $32.12, gaining $0.76, or 2.42 percent.
BB&T Corp. raised their quarterly dividend by 1 cent to 16 cents, and also declared a special 1-cent dividend. BB&T was trading at $27.27, up $0.40, or 1.49 percent.
