Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) senior vice president of product management, Jonathan Rosenberg, has unexpectedly resigned from the company, according to the Internet giant.
According to a statement, Google said Rosenberg announced his resignation on Monday.
Rosenberg had been with Google since 2002 after working for several tech companies, including Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL).
He was overseeing the development and design of all the products offered by Google at the time of his resignation.
Google closed Monday at $587.68, dropping $4.12, or 0.70 percent.
