Facing some concerns over price increases and lower margins and earnings, that seems to be taken care of for DuPont (NYSE:DD) based on higher ore prices, which will balance some of the higher prices.
Susquehanna said, "We now expect prices to rise over $0.20/lb in 2011 and see 75% of this increase falling to the bottom line as higher ore costs absorb some of the price increase."
Earnings for full year 2011 were increased from $3.10 to $3.70. For 2012 EPS will not fall below $4 says Susquehanna.
They maintain a "Positive" rating on DuPont, which was trading at $49.00, up $0.07, or 0.14 percent, as of 12:11 PM EST. Susquehanna increased their price target on them from $55 to $60.
