Citigroup (NYSE:C) soared past the $5.00 a share mark today, as the overall banking sector got a boost from the announcement by Wells Fargo (NYSE:C) that they upgraded the overall industry.
Citi was trading at $5.03, up $0.09, up 1.72 percent, as of 11:39 PM EST.
Of those listed on the Dow, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) and JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) moved up the most.
JPMorgan was trading at $44.58, up $0.98, or 2.25 percent. Bank of America was at $14.95, gaining $0.27, or 1.80 percent.
