Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), Andatee China Marine Fuel Services (NASDAQ: AMCF), BASF SE (NASDAQ: BASFY), Brookdale Senior Living, Inc. (NYSE: BKD), Five Star Quality Care, Inc. (NYSE: FVE) and Kid Brands (NYSE: KID) downgraded by analysts.

Andatee China Marine Fuel Services (AMCF) was downgraded by Rodman & Renshaw from an “Outperform” rating to a “Market Perform” rating.

BASF SE (BASFY) was downgraded by Nomura from a “Neutral” rating to a “Reduce” rating.

Brookdale Senior Living, Inc. (BKD) was downgraded by Stifel Nicolaus from a “Buy” rating to a “Hold” rating.

Five Star Quality Care, Inc. (FVE) was downgraded by Stifel Nicolaus from a “Buy” rating to a “Hold” rating.

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) was downgraded by BMO Capital Markets from an “Outperform” rating to a “Market Perform” rating.

Kid Brands (NYSE: KID) was downgraded by Needham & Company from a “Strong Buy” rating to a “Buy” rating. They have a price target of $9.00 on the company.

Kid Brands (KID) Plunges on Violations Investigation

Kid Brands Inc. (KID) plummeted on Tuesday on news the company was under investigation for customs violations.

Two senior managers has been fired by the company as part of the ongoing investigation, as custom duties were found to be paid incorrectly.

Consequently, the company has delayed its annual and fourth-quarter earnings report.

Kid Brands closed Tuesday at $6.91, down $2.33, or 25.22 percent.
