Kinross Gold (KGC) CFO Steps Down
Kinross Gold (NYSE:KGC) announced that their chief financial officer, Thomas Boehlert, will be leaving the company. Replacing Boehlert will be former Pepco Holdings (NYSE:POM)CFO Paul Barry.
Barry will joint Kinross by the end of March, said Kinross, while Boehlert will stay on to help out with the period of transition.
Kinross said Boehlert is leaving the company "by mutual agreement to pursue other opportunities."
Barry worked at Pepco, a natural gas and energy distributor, from 2007 to 2009, and has worked as an independent consultant since then.
Kinross closed in New York Monday at $15.79, gaining $0.15, or 0.96 percent.
