Nvidia (Nasdaq:NVDA) Developing 3-D Streaming Site with Fordella

Nvidia (Nasdaq:NVDA) is working with enterprise video management company, Fordela, to develop a website which would include streaming of 3-D movies and music videos which would target computers which run 3D Vision technology built by Nvidia.

The new site will be named www.3DVisionLive.com, said Fordela, and will be in "beta" for about a month as the two companies increase fuctions and features to the site and get feedback.

Also included in the deal will be the use of Microsoft's (Nasdaq:MSFT) Silverlight video player so consumers will be able to view high-definition 3-D videos associated with an Nvidia 3D VisionPC.

Nvidia was trading at $14.90, up $0.03, or 0.20 percent, as of 2:24 PM EST. Microsoft was trading at $28.23, up $0.16, or 0.57 percent.
