Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT) Driven by TAM Expansion Opportunities

Acme Packet (NASDAQ:APKT) seems to have momentum at this time for their SBC gear in CY11/12, and also should be driven by TAM expansion opportunities.

Deutsche said, "Our latest research suggests solid product cycle momentum for Acme’s SBC gear in CY11/12. The sales ramp is driven by meaningful TAM expansion opportunities in 1) enterprise SIP trunking (VoIP replacing circuit voice) - US and rest of world; 2) public sector SBC rollouts; and, 3) IP video (video collaboration and conferencing). We think the company can continue to accelerate earnings through these positive product cycle trends. Based on our positive checks, we are increasing our CY11/12 estimates."

Deutsche Bank maintains a "Buy" rating on Acme Packet, which was trading at $60.98, gaining $3.44, or 5.98 percent, as of 2:32 PM EST. They boosted their price target on Acme from $45 to $63.
