Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) Offers Horse Owners Vaccine Guarantee

Horse owners in Canada have received a new guarantee from Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), in which they'll receive support from the company if a horse contracts any one of five diseases, including West Nile, Influenza, Western Equine Encephalitis, Tetanus or Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

Terms of the agreement are the horse will have to have been vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian with Pfizer vaccine in the right way. The deal will hold for a period of one year after the vaccination.

Pfizer said they'll offer support "reasonable and necessary diagnostic and treatment costs" if a horse contracts one of the above-listed diseases.

The company will work with the veterinarian via its Pfizer Technical Services team to completely investigate the matter and document the situation.

Pfizer said horse owners should contact their veterinarian if they want more information.

Pfizer closed Tuesday at $19.05, the same as the prior trading session.
