Pricing for the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone service was released by Verizon (NYSE:VZ) today, which will start to take preorders for the service on Thursday.
For the basic voice plan, which includes 450 minutes, Verizon said they're going to charge $40 a month.
For a voice plan including unlimited text messages, pricing will start at $60 a month.
An additional plan for the Web and getting e-mail will sell for $30 a month.
For customers wanting to use the iPhone as a Wi-Fi hotspot, Verizon said they're going to charge an additional $20 a month.
Preorders for existing Verizon customers will launch at 3 AM EST on Thursday.
Verizon was trading at $35.97, down $0.30, or 0.83 percent, as of 2:42 PM EST. Apple was trading at $344.47, down $0.56, or 0.16 percent.
