According to the National Hockey League, they have signed a multiyear sponsorship agreement with Cisco (Nasdaq:CSCO), renewing their partnership with the tech company.
Per the deal, the NHL will continue to have the use of Cisco video technology on the website of the league, along with the business operations of the NHL.
Continuing on with the agreement will be the partnership between the NHL and Cisco will be the NHL All-star game, NHL Winter Classic and NHL Heritage Classic.
Cisco will feature their Flip video camera in the NHL, with Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin and Edmonton Oilers right wing Jordan Eberle using the camera during Cisco's “Do You Flip?” 2010 holiday campaign.
Also available to NHL Fantasy Hockey participants on Yahoo (Nasdaq:YHOO) will be video of every goal made of each game.
Cisco closed Wednesday at $19.35, down $0.04, or 0.21 percent.
